The match ended in a goalless draw.
In the resultant tie-breaker Ashley, Joaquim, Sameer and Deepak converted for Khobra Vaddo while Alex, Charlston and Charles scored for Maddo Vaddo.
The winners and runners-up were awarded cash prizes of Rs 20,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively plus trophies.
The two losing semi-finalist, Saunta Vaddo and Tivai Vaddo were awarded Rs. 3,000 each.
Individual prizes: Best Defender of the final Sameer Chodankar (Khobra Vaddo), Best Forward of the final Saroj Divkar (Khobra Vaddo), Best Midfielder of the final Issar Khan (Maddo Vaddo), Best Goalkeeper of the final Alex Pereira (Maddo Vaddo), First goal of the final- Alex Fernandes (Maddo Vaddo), Youngest player of the tournament Nischel Divkar (Khobra Vaddo), Best upcoming player of the tournament Richard Cardozo (Maddo Vaddo).
Two senior players from Khobra Vaddo Domnic D’souza (Ex- Dempo player) and Vasant Kalangutkar (Ex-Senior player of Calangute Village) were felicitated.
Also present for the final were: Anthony Menezes (Ex- Z.P. member Calangute), Anthony D’souza (Attorney, Calangute Communidade), Marcelino Fernandes (Sports Secretary, Calangute Association), Gurudas Shirodkar (Block President – BJP Calangute) and Fabiano De Souza (General Secretary, Calangute Association).
