PANAJI: The Little Lambs School held their 8th annual sports day at Fire Brigade Ground, Campal, Saturday. Juliana Gurjao e Colaco (Deputy Director, DSYA was the chief geust. Manguesh Kavlekar was the guest of honour. PTA chairman Intekar Sayed and Christopher Po were also present.
Juliana declared the meet open. Hritikesh Bhandari took the oath. Various events for students fromNursery to Std VIII, like sorting grains, frog race, sack race, triangle tug-of-war, lemon on the forehead, slow cycling, fly balloon fly and others were organised. Some special children also took part. The enthusiasm was evident with the games being the brainchild of principal, Mariazita Afonso.
The chief guest was thrilled to see the participation and discipline of the students. Sharmila Deorukhkar proposed the vote of thanks.
