VALPOI: Our Lady of Lourdes High school, Valpoi were crowned champions of the U-14 girls Valpoi Taluka level football tournament organized by DSYA at Koppardem ground Valpoi.
Participating for the first time the school created history by registering their first championship title defeating Unity HS, Valpoi.
Midfielder Rehana Naik netted the ball from a corner kick by the captain Sheefa Khan in the second half sealing O.L.O.L.HS victory. Meanwhile, the school also had won the inter-school U -14 boys football tournament defeating Unity High school, Valpoi, 1-0 in the final.
