MARGAO: SCC Loutolim knocked out Cuncolim Union 5-3 via the tie-breaker to cruise into the quarter-finals of Our Lady of Merces inter-village football at church ground, Chinchinim, Friday. Loutolim led 1-0 at the break.
Loutolim broke the deadlock when striker Mark Fernandes punished the Cuncolim goalkeeper with a clinical finish.
Crossing over, Cunolim Union neutralized the lead through Myron Fernandes.
In the tie-breaker, Loutolim scored through Zico Rodrigues, Roice Cardozo, Jeston Fernandes and Elzie Fernandes while Wellington Fernandes and Donwin Fernandes were on target for Cuncolim Union.
