In the second semis, Maina thumped Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club 2-0. Maina took the lead at the start of the first session through Milagres Fernandes, who received a long cross from Seby Martins and slotted past Francis Baretto under the Areal crossbar.
In the second session, Areal took control of the match but failed to equalize as Prinson Dias header of a cross from Mario Baretto just sailed over the bar. Neveille Fernandes doubled the lead for Maina midway in the second session. Maina were unlucky as Anthony Cardozo, who dribbled past two rival defenders was timely cleared by Areal defender Franky Valadares at goalline. Darryl Costa of Areal was declared man-of-the-match.
