BENAULIM: Maina SC Curtorim edged past Cuncolim Union 5-4 via the tie-breaker to enter the final of the 13th Bebe Costa Memorial, organised by UC of Benaulim and played at St John the Baptist ground, Dando, Benaulim, on Tuesday.
In a trilling encounter Maina led twice through the goals of their strike pair of Jessel Carneiro and James Fernandes but Cuncolim restored parity through the efforts of Clifton Fernandes and Mickey Fernandes. In the tie-breaker, Maina proved to be better shooters.
