MARGAO: Marina English High School, Verna beat Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science to emerge winners of the 2nd All Goa Educational Institutes Staff futsal tournament organised by MES College of Arts of Commerce, Zuarinagar-Goa in Collaboration with Smt. Parvatibai College of Arts and Science and G-SCOPES, at Chowgule Futsal Court, recently.
The tournament was also organised as a part of the MOU between MES College of Arts and Commerce and Smt. Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science.
A total seven teams participated in the tournament. The tournament was held on a League cum knockout format.
Laxmikant Kattimani (Player- FC GOA) was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Santosh Upadiya (Sports Officer – IIT Goa) and Devashish Bagchi (College Director of PE and Sports- Chowgule College & President of G-SCOPES).
