PANJIM: GFDC Navelim registered a comfortable 8-1 win over Paroda in Zone 8 of the U-10 Boys match of the GFDC Rising Star football festival, at Avedem Panchayat ground, recently.
Maven Da Costa scored three crucial goals while Ronan Da Silva, Mayfern Da Costa and Renan Mascarenhas netted one each for GFDC Navelim.
Abiel Costa of GFDC Navelim was adjourned player of the match.
In the U-13 Boys match, Paroda blanked Navelim, 5-0.
Liven Fernandes opened the floodgates for Paroda followed by a brace each from Clifton Fernandes and Alison Fernandes.
