RAIA: Mitre Veterans defeated Vernekar Veterans 3-1 to move into the next round of 7th Pogo Boys 50+ Veterans Tournament at Merces Church ground, on Tuesday.
Sanjay Gaddi opened the scoring for Mitre, before Ajit Kumar equalised for Vernekar. Gaddi struck again to restore Mitre’s lead and Benny sealed the win with the team’s third goal for Mitre Veterans.
