Myron Mendes of Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem a budding football player who represented India and captained the U-14 football team at the recent Asian Football Confederation championship held in Hamedam City in Iran from May 10 to 23 was felicitated by the school at Curchorem.
Myron was the only Goan selected to represent India.
Headmaster, Fr. Walter Miranda congratulated Myron on behalf of the management, staff, students and PTA for his unique and outstanding achievement thus making Goans proud. “The school feels honoured. Myron will certainly be an inspiration for many others,” Fr. Miranda remarked.
