DANDO-COLVA: Navelim Villagers Union shot-out United Boys of Dando, Colva 7-6 via the tie- breaker to move into the quarter-finals the 30th Super Soccer football tournament organised by United Boys of Dando, Colva, at Sao Joao Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim, on Monday.
The first half remained goalless.
In the second half, Rovan Pereira netted for Navelim in the 50th minute. Eleven minutes later, Colva equalised through Denyson Fernandes.
In the tie-breaker, Navelim Villagers Union netted through Aulon Gomes, Denston Fernandes, Ronaldo Pereira, Travis Souza, Jaison Martins and Climax Lawrence while Baptist Fernandes, Kabir Khan, Rony Fernandes, Maxon Fernandes and Dylan scored for United Boys of Dando, Colva.
