MAPUSA: St Joseph’s High School, Calangute will meet St Anthony’s High School, Monte Guirim in the final of Bardez Taluka Boys U-14 Subroto Mukherjee football tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Peddem Complex, here, on Monday.
In the first semi-final, St Anthony’s High School, Monte Guirim defeated St Elizabeth’s High School, Pomburpa 2-0.
Both the goals were scored by their in-form player Soham Naik.
In the second semi-final, St Joseph’s High School, Calangute thumped Assagao Union High School, Assagao 6-0.
Krish Kerkar netted a ha-trick while Mervin D’Souza netted a brace. Shaunak Salgaonkar added his name to the scorers list.
The final will be played on Tuesday, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, at 3 p.m.
