MANDREM: Nerul Sports Club triumphed over Xatrapal Sports Club with a 4-2 victory in the tie-breaker, advancing in the 2nd Rosary Cup Mandrem 2024, held at Mandrem village panchayat ground, Mandrem.
In the 9th minute, Nerul SC’s goalkeeper Thomas D’Souza saved a penalty from Xatrapal’s Kanaya Govekar. At the 15-minute mark, Xatrapal’s goalkeeper Ashitosh Gadekar made a brilliant save from Nerul’s striker Mahadev Naik. During the second half, Mahadev Naik of Nerul SC missed an open chance from the 12-yard box in the 13th minute.

In the resulting tie-breaker, Aniket, Aman, Chaitan, and Yeshwant scored for Nerul Sports Club, while Vishank and Vinay found the net for Xatrapal.
