MARGAO: Our Lady of Gloria Sports Club scored a narrow 2-1 win over Parish Youth Nuvem in the Goa Football Association Third Division League match played at Raia ground, on Friday.
All the three goals were scored in the first half as Dagley Fernandes shot in two quick goals in the span of five minutes in the 22nd and 27th minutes.
Cedar Colaso pulled a goal back for the losing side.
Nuvem tried their best to get back into the game but they just couldn’t keep their composure infront of the rival goal.
At Chandor Church ground, Fr Agnelo YSC Paroda ran riot over Uguem Rising Club 11-0.
The winners led 2-0 at the break. Packie Oliveira scored a hat-trick while Ashwan Fernandes and Sweaten Fernandes netted a brace for the winners. Dolson D’Costa, Nelson Oliviera, Gladson D’Costa were the other goal scorers.
At artificial turf ground, Margao SC beat Enfermos SC 8-3
PVC Association hit five past Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, at Anjuna ground.
Shadab Shaik scored a brace while Joaquim, R Pinto and Francisco scored a goal each for the winning side.
In another match at Chapora ground, Sai Avtar SC beat ABC Arambol 4-2.
