PANJIM: Our Lady of Piety High School, Collem, emerged champions in the one day Meccabeus Rodrigues Memorial All-Goa U-13 football tournament organised by Fr Agnel Youth Centre, Pilar, at Fr Agnel Central School ground, Pilar, recently.
In a well-contested final, Our Lady of Piety High School boys got the better of Fr Agnel Multipurpose High School by a solitary goal.

Our Lady of Piety players mesmerised the crowd with their brilliant display of passing and ball control in all their matches to deservedly be crowned the champions. In all, eight schools from across Goa participated in the tournament which was played on a league-cum-knock out basis.
The chief guest for the final, Iyno Fernandes (Sarpanch of St Andre Village Panchayat, Goa Velha) gave away the prizes in the presence of Francisca Rodrigues (wife of late Meccabeus Rodrigues), Fr Agnel Gomes, Fr Andrew Silveira and Fr Fredrick Rodrigues.
