Snehal Kauthankar netted in the dying minutes to send Our Lady of Grace HS, Bicholim into the finals defeating Don Bosco HS, Panjim by a solitary goal in U-14 North Zone mini-secondary football tournament organised by DSYA at Peddem complex on Tuesday.
Our Lady of Grace will now face St Joseph’s HS, Calangute in the finals on Wednesday after the later were awarded a walkover as their opponents, Our Lady of Lourdes HS, Valpoi failed to show up for the contest.
In the girls semi-finals, Our Lady of Rosary HS, Dona Paula thrashed Rosary HS, Mandrem 11-0. In the other semi-finals, Holy Cross HS, Siolim were awarded a walkover as St John of the Cross, Sanquelim did not turn up.
