FATORDA: Our Lady of Rosary HS, Fatorda shot-out Gauncar HSS, Raia 7-6 via the tie-breaker to move into the next round of the U-17 Subroto Mukherjee Salcette Taluka football tournament organised by DSYA, at Astroturf ground, Fatorda, on Friday.
Both the teams failed to break the deadlock in regulation time.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Our Lady of Rosary HS, Fatorda proved to be better shooters.
In the other matches of the day, Mae Dos Pobres HS, Nuvem downed Mount Mary’s HS, Chinchinim 3-0. Darren Fernandes, Darwin Colaco and Delson Rebello netted a goal each for the winners.
In another match St Anthony HS, Majorda got the better of Government Multipurpose HSS, Borda 6-5 via the tie-breaker.
Lucky Savitan netted a hat-trick for St Anthony HS, Majorda while Mourison Dias netted a brace and Cleston Carvalho scored a goal for Government Multipurpose HSS Borda in the regulation time.
In the resultant tie-breaker, St Anthony HS, Majorda proved to be better shooters.
