PANJIM: Prasad Babu Naik from Navelim and Prince Pereira from Cavelossim have been selected to be part of the India team to participate in World power lifting championship to be held at Las Vegas, USA from October 17 to 19.
Avertano Furtado, Minister for Labour & Employment and Fisheries, MLA of Navelimcongratulated both the athletes for being selected and assured full support from the Government and concerned authorities. This is the first time that two power lifters have been selected from Goa to represent the India team.
