CURTORIM: Rebello Pandal Maina got the better of Margao Footballers 3-1 and moved into the quarter-finals of the 13th Rebello Pandal football tournament, organised by Rebello Pandal, Maina at Maina ground on Thursday.
Melvin netted the first goal of the match for Rebello in the 4th minute. Two minutes later, Margao’s Simon shot from close range but his effort hit the Rebello’s crossbar and went out of play.
In the second half, Rebello Pandal netted two more goals through Imam and Jostan in the 50th and 52nd minutes respectively.
Ryan pulled a goal back for Margao in the 56th minute.
