NUVEM: Rossman Cruz Nagoa-Verna defeated Nuvem SC 1-0 to lift the 5th Mae Dos Pobres Cup, organised by Nuvem SC, played at Jesus Mary Joseph Church ground Nuvem, recently.
In the 6th minute, Nuvem’s Standly D’Mello header narrowly missed the target.
Rossman Cruz Beneston Barreto connected a well measured pass to Stephen Satarkar but the latter shot wide.
The match winner was scored by Clive Coelho of Rossman in the 56th minute.
The winners were awarded Rs 40,000 and runners up pocketed Rs 30,000.
Nuvem MLA and chief guest Wilfred D’Sa gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of club officials and other dignitaries.
