Hosts Sao Jose de Areal beat ICSC, Paroda 4-3 via the sudden-death tie-breaker to romp into the quarter-finals of Sao Jose de Areal villagers cup football tournament organised by Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club at Padribhat ground, Sao Jose De Areal. The teams were locked in a goalless draw during the regulation period.
In the penalty shoot out, Luis Dias, Socorro Monteiro, Merwyn Costa and Mariano Rebello were on target for Sao Jose while John Carvalho, Manush Olveira and Luis Colaco netted for Paroda.
