PANJIM: SAI, STC, Boys Hostel, Ponda and STC, Peddem, Mapusa (girl’s hostel) will be conducting the selection trials for new induction at their respective centres.
The trials at Ponda will be from February 19 to 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at STC, sports complex, Peddem, February 21 to 24, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The disciplines mentioned below are as follows.
For STC Ponda (boys residential scheme) football and taekwondo. Non residential for boys and girls in archery.
STC Peddem, Mapusa (girl’s residential scheme) judo, kabaddi, athletics and boxing.
Non residential athletics and boxing (girls), judo and swimming (girls and boys). Selection trials as per existing selection criteria is age group of 12 to 18 years. Documents required are age certificate, sports achievement certificates, residential proof, school bonafied certificate, sports test, age verification &and medical test.
