Sangolda Lightning advanced into the semi-finals of 1st All-Goa 9-a-side Reis Magos Panchayat Cup soccer organised by Verem Boys with a 4-2 win over Mandopa Sports Club Navelim at Verem Panchayat ground, on Tuesday.
Mandopa took the lead in the 7th minute through Vikas Dhale.
Sangolda built up pressure and struck two quick goals through Sababh Sheikh and Agnelo Quadros.
On crossing over, Sangolda consolidated their lead through Agnelo Quadros and Sababh Sheikh, while Mandopa pulled one back from the penalty spot through Roelto D’Costa.
