RAIA: SC Davorlim destroyed Cortalim villagers 7-1 to seal the semi- finals of the 45th Custodio Memorial inter-village football tournament, at Raia Panchayat ground, on Sunday.
In the 6th minute Cortalim Villagers opened the account through Morgan Figuerido to give his team an early lead. Later, SC Davorlim levelled through Paxton Gomes in the 23rd minute. Bonny Niasso in the 42nd minute made it 2-1, to take the lead. Agnelo Colaco scored twice for SC Davorilm in the 48th and the 58th minute making it 4-1, soon Selwin Miranda made it 5-1.
The 68th minute saw Piedade Colaco score another goal to increase the margin making it 6-0.
Asikesh Shetye scored in the dying minutes helping his team to get another goal on the scoresheet.
At the final whistle, the score was 7-1.
