PANJIM: Sporting Club Davorlim outplayed Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda 3-1 via tie-breaker to advance into the quarter-finals of Custodio memorial football tournament organized by Raia Sporting Club, at panchayat ground, Raia, on Sunday.
At full time, the teams failed to open an account.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Bonny Niasso, Paxton Gomes and Melvin Figureido converted for Sporting Club Davorlim while only Clencio Pinto managed to shot on target for Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda.
On Saturday, Parish Youth Nuvem registered a solitary goal victory over Navelim Sporting Club in the inaugural match.
The all-important goal came in the 10th minute when Albino Pereira crossed the ball to Presley Colaco, who easily tapped in from close range.
