PANJIM: Though people from various walks of life have almost uniformly gone against the designs and the views of Sri Ram Sene Pramod Muthalik and his views and plan, some are willing to give him a chance and putting on the onus on the people to decide his acceptability or non acceptability.
Pandurang Deepak Dhavalikar the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak party chief and brother of PWD minister Ramkrishna Sudhin Dhavalikar compares the Sri Ram Sene to the RSS and makes a comparison saying that once upon a time the RSS too had faced opposition, but today it is accepted.
“Is there any law to ban the entry of any individual to any part of India? India is a democratic country and here every person has freedom to speak and move everywhere he or she wants.” Dhavalikar said, adding “I don’t think government can do anything on the entry of Muthalik or setting up his outfit here.”
He also felt that ultimately the people would decide.
“It depends upon people of Goa whether they accept him or not. In the past also much was talked about RSS and its acceptance but today there spread all over India but yes, their acts are peaceful,” he argued, adding “Let people decide faith of Muthalik and not government.”
