MAPUSA: Sesa FA had an easy outing as they drubbed Panjim Footballers by 5-0 margin in the GFA’s Goa Professional League held at Duler stadium, here, on Tuesday.
Both the teams having lost their last played GPL match fought on equal footing in the first 20 minutes of the first session.

Sesa’s Velrose Dias, Joshua D’Silva (2) and Aman Rajbhar (2) scored.
Sesa FA almost scored in the 20th minute where U-21 Velrose Dias played one two with striker Omkar Shetgaonkar and coolly placed the ball into the unguarded goal only to find Panjim’s defender Darwin Carvalho bring a breath taking clearance from the goal line.
However after some attacks Sesa FA finally scored in the 36th minute where a deadly cross by Thokchom Singh from the right flank at the far end saw Sankalp Kankonkar rise above the Panjim’s defenders to nod the ball into the goal 1-0.
Four minutes later Sesa should have doubled their lead but Panjim’s goalkeeper Vishnu Baghel thwarted Omkar Shetgaonkar in one to one situation.
In the added time beachside lads almost levelled terms. A brilliant placement from inside the penalty box by Palden Sherpa was equally well saved by Sesa’s custodian Roanal Gaunkar with a full stretched diving save.
Just two minutes into the second session and Sesa FA doubled their lead through substitute Joshua D’Silva who collecting a pass from the midfield dribbled past onrushing Panjim’s goalkeeper and placed the ball into the goal 2-0.
After fifteen minutes of midfield tussle Sesa’s Joshua D’Silva netted his brace connecting Umang Gaikwad cross and substitute Aman Rajbhar dribbled inside the penalty box and finished with a stiff grounder and later headed the ball into the nets to net his brace to make it 5-0.
Sesa’s Thokchom Beckham Singh received the man of the match award from the hands of Laxman Hadfadkar, GFA’s executive committee member.
