Sesa Football Academy (Juniors) gained a walkover as their rivals Eagles Sports Club, Sanquelim failed to turn up for the GFA Third Division League match at Tivim ground on Sunday.
Eagle SC appeared with only four players and they came with their own transport. According to them, most of the club players are participating in private tie-breaker tournaments, and as such they avoid participating in league matches. Heavy downpour was another excuse given by Eagle.
Match Commissioner Seby Sequeira in consulation with referee Tejas Nagvekar declared the walkover in favour of Sesa FA (Jrs).
