FATORDA: SFX Siolim thrashed Daniella SC, Navelim, 21-3 to emerge as champs of the 9th Sub-Junior state handball boys championship, organised by Goa Handball Association, at Fatorda SAG handball court.

In the semis, SFX Siolim defeated Shishu Vikas 9-4 while Daniella SC beat Perpetual HS 6-2. The third place was bagged by Perpetual HS defeating Shishu Vikas 9-4. Preston Dias and Nisham Morge of SFX Siolim were adjudged as best player and goalkeeper of the tournament respectively. Vice Chairman of Margao Municipal Council Deepali Sawal was the chief guest and handed over the prizes.
