Sporting Clube de Goa outplayed Wilfred Leisure 4-1 in the All-Goa Diogo Vaz memorial veterans football tournament organised by Don Bosco Past Pupils Association, Panjim on Wednesday.
Alex Fernandes gave Wilred the lead in the 15th minute. In the second-half, Pascoal Pereira equalised for Sporting Clube de Goa in the 30th minute. Luis Gomes consolidated the lead by scoring two continuous goals in the 32nd and 38th minutes. Elvis Goes scored in the 45th minute to take Sporting Clube to an incredible lead.
Ulhas Gaonkar of Sporting Clube and Salvador Miranda of Wilred Leisure were awarded special prizes for their outstanding performance. Francis Martins was the chief guest.
