MARGAO: The 1st All-Goa 8-a-side football tournament organized by 3 Friends, Maina-Curtorim will be held on June 16 at church ground, Maina.

Inter-ward football at Divar
PANJIM: Vittozem will take on Narva Sports Club in the inaugural match of annual inter-ward football league organized by Piedade Youth Association, Divar on June 16 at Our Lady of Divar HS ground, Divar, at 3.30 p.m.
Modern will face Center in the second game at 4.30 p.m.
Vittozem, Sonar, Life Line and Narva Sports Club have been grouped in group A while Modern, Center, Youth of Malar, Jingle Bells and Maddant Stars are clubbed in group B.
Major ranking badminton at Campal
PANJIM: The Manohar Dhond Memorial All-Goa major ranking badminton tournament will be held from June 18 to 21 at SAG Indoor Stadium, Campal, here.
The tournament will be conducted in the under-13, under-15 and under-17 (boys and girls) singles categories.

One-day trek at Keri
PANJIM: A one-day trek at Karmalya waterfall organized by Goa Hiking association will be held on June 16 at Keri, Ponda.
Entries will be accepted on first-come-first-served basis. Participants may carry their own lunch. The buses will depart from Heera Petrol Pump, Panjim at 7.45 a.m.; Cortalim Junction at 8.15 a.m. and Margao KTC bus stand at 8.45 a.m.

Tennis ball cricket workshop in Ponda
PANJIM: The Goa State tennis ball cricket workshop organized by Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Association in association with SAG for players, coaches, umpires and physical education teachers will be held on June 23 at Kids Nest Hall, Santa Cruz, Ponda, from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The rules of the game alongwith theory and practical sessions on the importance and recognition of tennis ball cricket will be discussed. Presentations on diet and lecture on physiotherapy will be conducted which will be followed by a test.
Usman Siddiqui from Delhi will conduct the workshop.

5-a-side football at Assagao
MAPUSA: The 5-a-side football tourney organized by Young Boys of Assagao will be held on June 16 at Assagao Union HS ground, from 10 a.m.
