PANJIM: St Anthony Sports Club, Assolda moved into the semi-finals of 26th Curtorim Panchayat Cup All Goa inter-village football tournament defeating Betalbatim Sporting Club by a solitary goal at Curtorim ground, on Wednesday.
The all-important goal was scored by Joseph Fernandes in the 18th minute. Betalbatim spoiled a golden opportunity in the 29th minute to equalise as their striker Khosner Pereira shot wide from top of the box. St Anthony Club will meet Curtorim Gymkhana in semi-finals on August 25.
