PANJIM: ICSC Paroda defeated St Anthony Sports Club, Colva 6-5 to advance into the next round of the Late Joao Francisco Pacheco football tournament organized by Betalbatim Sporting Club, at Betalbatim ground, on Wednesday.
At the end of regulation time, the score was goalless. In both the session, the teams tried to overpower each other in search of goals but in vain.
In the resultant tie-breaker, ICSC Paroda converted through Anthony Dias, Manish Oliveira, Denzil Vaz, Selvin Fernandes, Kanchan Keiro and Diego Fernandes while St Anthony Sports Club were on target through Maxon Fernandes, Dylan Fernandes, Jovissco Fernandes, Ramiro Fernandes and Joseph Pereira.
