AVEDEM-PARODA: St Rock Youth Club Calata-Majorda got the better of CAC Cansaulim 6-5 via the tie-breaker and entered into the quarter-finals of the Fr Agnel Soccer, organised by Fr Agnel Youth Club, Paroda and played at Avedem-Paroda on Thursday.
Cansaulim’s Aaron Fernandes gave his team the lead in the 5th minute.
In the 36th minute, Majorda restored parity through Myron Braganza.
The teams were tied 1-1 at the end of the regulation time.
In the tie-breaker St Rock YC Calata Majorda netted through Filbert Pereira, Suraj Rassiecar, Lester Vaz, Myron Braganza and Ashley Rodrigues and for CAC Cansaulim Elvino Fernandes, Aryan Dias, Rashwer Figuerido and Alison Soares scored.
St Rock Youth Club Calata Majorda will meet Fr Agnel Youth Club Paroda in the quarter-finals on January 5.
