Velha Sports Club 2-0 in the 13th Holy Cross
soccer tournament organised by Holy Cross Sports
Club at Vodlemoll ground, Kadoka on Thursday.
There was no score at the interval.
Changing over, the strikers of both teams kept
the goalkeepers busy with some fine attacks. As
the game progressed St. Savio looked to dominate
and with 10 minutes left Vijay Parsekar
successfully shot the ball past the Goa Velha
goalkeeper.
In the last minute, St Savio made their win clear
with another goal from Deep Govekar. Adolf Caiado
of Goa Velha was reprimanded for unsporting
behaviour.
