MAPUSA: St Savio Calangute scored a huge 4-0 win over Sinquerim SC to advance into the next round of the Xetrapal Soccer Cup played at Xetrapal ground, on Friday
Sinquerim SC were overpowered in all departments of the game by the Calangute team.
At halftime, Calangute led 1-0.
Domninc put Calangute ahead in the 15th minute of play when his curling shot from the edge of the box crashed into the back of the Sinquerim nets, 1-0.
Crossing over, Charles Cardozo doubled the lead for Calangute when his long-range effort landed to the far end of the goal, 2-0.
In the next minute Domnic scored his brace through a placing effort while in the 55th minute Joaquim Gonsalves gave finishing touches to Domnic’s cross, 4-0.
