MAPUSA: St Savio Sports Club, Calangute, outclassed Pilerne Sports Club with a dominant 7-2 win in the 24th Vagator Soccer 2025 played at Vagator ground, on Wednesday.
Richard Cardoz led the charge with a brace, while Jovito Fernandes also netted twice. Runal Shirodkar, Karan Maratha, and an own goal by Pilerne SC’s Melvin added to the tally.
Melvin and Royce Gonsalves scored for Pilerne SC, but St Savio Sports Club’s early lead and attacking pressure proved too much, sealing a comprehensive victory.
