MASHEM: St. Sebastian High School beat Tudal High School, Gaodongri by 7 wickets in the second semi-final of the U-14 President Cup inter-school cricket tournament organised by Goa Cricket Association, at Nirakar Sports Complex, Mashem, on Tuesday.
After winning the toss, Tudal High School elected to bat and were bowled out for 76 runs in 14.4 overs.
Prayan Gaonkar (17) and Piyush Devidas (10) were the only players to reach double figures.
The team got 29 extras from the St. Sebastian bowlers.
Saiesh scalped 4 wickets while Sujal picked up 2 wickets. Sainand and Ashwant took a wicket each.
In reply St. Sebastian High School’s second and third wicket partnership between Sujan and Pratham (28) and Pratham and Sujal (36) respectively helped them to chase down the target in 17.2 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.
Pratham scored 38 runs while Sujal contributed 11 runs.
Rudresh, Aryan & Yogesh took one wicket each for Tudal High School.
St Sebastian High school, Loliem will now clash with Shri Katyayani Baneshwar Vidyalaya, Pansulem in the final on February 27.
