The star of the tournament, Triston Fernandes scored the all-important goal.
Pilar started the match in the right earnest but some stout defending by Snows defence kept them at bay.
Triston collected the ball from the midfield and went solo to score past Snows keeper Prashant.
In the second half, Snows tried their best to equalize but the Fr Agnel thwarted their attempts. Fr Agnel’s egged on by their legion of supporters who had come to see the match tried to increase the margin but Prashant Marathe in the Snows goal was unbeatable.
Prashant Marathe of Snows was awarded Best goalkeeper of the tournament while Triston Fernandes of Fr Agnel walked away with the Player of the final and player of the tournament awards for his brilliant display.
Bro Finn, founder and the first Headmaster of Regina Mundi School gave away the medals, certificates and trophies at the special presentation ceremony in the school hall in the presence of Bro Charles D’Souza, chairman of the Christian Brothers Educational Society; Bro Anish John, Headmaster of Regina Mundi School and RMS students, teachers and ex students.
