PANJIM: More than 3,000 students answered the Goa Common Entrance Test examination Wednesday at 10 centres across the state.

The performance of students at this exam will determine to a large extent their admissions into the state’s engineering and pharmacy colleges.

This year GCET will only make students eligible for admission to engineering and pharmacy courses as it was conducted in Physics, Chemistry and Maths, based on Class XII syllabus prescribed by Goa Board for March 2013 exam in these subjects.

Each paper had 75 questions, of one mark each, to be answered in two hours, with no negative marking.
