RAIA: Raia FC defeated Margao SC 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the FC Raia Cup football tournament organised by FC Raia, at Raia ground, on Sunday.
Margao SC managed to open the account through Minguel Barreto placement shot making it 1-0.
Raia FC regrouped and equalised in the 37th minute through Oilex Oliveira while Bosco Rodrigues’ brace in the 44th and 58th minutes respectively helped the host’ book their quarter-finals slot.
Raia FC will meet Cuncolim Union in the round of eight on May 25.
