MARGAO: In connection with the case against former minister Mickky Pacheco and two other persons for driving on the beach and related complaints, the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Sahir Shirazali Issani on Wednesday posted the matter for September 23.
The incident occurred on March 11, 2018, where according to the complainant Fanny D’Silva, her son Melroy was threatened and abused. The complaint stated that Mickky drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner on the beach and nearly knocked down her son.
The State sought time in the matter to produce the CD of the video that they had relied upon to file the case.
Assistant Public Prosecutor Utkarsh Audi said he needed time to get the video transferred to a pen drive.
