OLD GOA : The World comes to pay homage to the man who changed our World. St Francis is venerated not only by Catholics by people of all faiths. For generations now many of those who vend flowers, wax body parts, flowers, grams and other sweet meats are Hindus. They are doing this business for at least 3 to 4 generations. Truly the exposition and feast of St Francis Xavier is an epitome of communal harmony and a melting pot of religions.

Reshma from Diwar runs a wholesale outlet of selling wax body parts. People with head, back, hands, legs and other ailments come to her to buy wax body parts to offer to St Francis Xavier, in return for healing. She works for Nilesh Candles, Diwar. She has been working here for every feast and Exposition for many decades.
Amol Govekar is a third generation Sweet Meat Seller. He has been selling sweet meats at Old Goa for at least 16 years. They vend sweets at, at least 20 feasts all over Goa and about four to give zatra.
Ketan Naik from Cumbarjua sells grams at told Goa for the last 13 years. He was there for the last Exposition in 2014. He has taken up the business from his uncle.
