RAIA: Curtorim Gymkhana defeated Davorlim SC via the tie-breaker to enter the quarter-final of Cavelossim Panchayat Trophy football at Fr Druston and Wellington ground, Cavelossim on Wednesday. There was no score at full time.
Curtorim mounted pressure right from kick-off and a power-packed shot by Aliston Fernandes was saved by Davorlim goalkeeper Francis Colaco.

Joy Hilario of Curtorim attempted a powerful header off a cross from Savio Luis, and Davorlim goalkeeper Francis came to his team’s rescue punching for an abortive corner.
In the second half the teams mounted pressure but to no avail.
In the tie-breaker, Joy, Freedy, Jovel, James and Aliston scored for Curtorim. Adman, Jordern, Angwyn netted for Davorlim.
