A fire broke out in the bushes near Aguada Helipad on Wednesday evening. Local youth present in the area noticed the fire and immediately alerted the fire officials and the police.
Calangute police with the local youth tried to prevent the fire from spreading. However, firefighters arrived on the site and managed to control the fire. Fire officials suspect someone may have lit the garbage on fire, which led to the blaze.
