MARGAO: Two occupants of a motorized canoe suffered injuries after they fell into the waters while returning to the shore at Colva on Thursday evening.
The duo was immediately rushed to Hospicio by Drishti personnel.

Benaulim MLA Caitu Silva also visited the hospital and inquired with the condition of the two persons.
Drishthi zonal in-charge, Parshuram Pagi told Herald that the duo was returning ashore when their motorised canoe was hit by a huge wave. “The canoe did not capsize but it got tilted by the impact of the wave and the duo fell into the waters,” he said, adding that the duo was rushed to the hospital after being administered first aid.
