In one complaint, Archana Gaonkar (40) of Kalsai in Kirlapal-Dabal stated that the accused, Anil Gauns Desai of Dhamadwada in Xeldem-Quepem, who is her brother-in-law, came to her house to drop his daughter at about 5.30 pm on February 5.
Anil allegedly tried to assault the complainant’s mother, Oval Vithal Desai, and abused the complainant and her mother.
Archana accused Anil of assaulting her with an iron rod on her forehead, causing her injuries, and threatening them with dire consequences.
Offences have been booked against Anil under Sections 324, 352, 504, 506 (ii) IPC.
