Don Bosco Oratory routed Dramapur Sports Club 3-0 to move into the semi-finals of 38th Custodio memorial football tournament at panchayat ground, Raia on Saturday. Don Bosco led 1-0 at half time.
On slush ground both teams played with caution as Don Bosco made a first attempt at the goal which landed just within inches of the up-right bar.
Don Bosco were quicker then their opponents as Valentino Silva received a cross from the right wing, turned round to beat a defender and moved a few steps forward and shot wide of the keeper, to put Don Bosco one up.
Changing over, Valentino in the 33rd minute stood out and dribbled past the defenders and shot into the goal to give Don Bosco a lead of two goals.
Valentino found the Dramapur defence a bit heavy and decided to make another foray on his own and slotted the ball into the goal, completing his hat-trick.
