MARGAO: Goa’s Scheduled Tribe community held a prayer and fasting at Lohia Maidan, Margao, in support of peace in Manipur. They voiced solidarity with the victims of violence and emphasised the connection between the conflicts and tribal land ownership issues.
Community members Premanad Gaude and Diana Tavares called for an end to attacks on tribal people nationwide and urged the preservation of their rights.
