PANJIM: Goa government has appointed a Chartered Accountant to assist Crime Branch (CB) in a six-year-old investigation of criminal cases at the Registrar of Co-operative Societies.
Nandan Motilal Shirsat will assist the investigation in two cases registered under Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 408 (criminal breach of trust by clerk or servant), 409 (criminal breach of trust by public servant), 420 (b) (cheating) read with 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
